AuthorSHED

Your craft instincts are good. AI can make them sharper.

A live course for authors who take their craft seriously and want a targeted, personalised way to keep improving their skills.

The authors who keep improving are not the ones who get the most feedback. They are the ones who know precisely which areas of their craft need work, and have a structured way to practise them. Generic feedback tells you something is not working. Targeted practice is what actually changes it.

Developmental editing costs £1,000 to £3,000 per manuscript. Beta readers are generous but rarely tell you why something isn't working, only that it isn't. Craft books give you theory. None of them know your specific weaknesses.

AI can. Not as a shortcut. As a demanding creative collaborator that you direct, that you brief around your own gaps, and that gives you the kind of specific, repeatable feedback that actually builds skill over time.

This course is about using AI that way: as an editor, a brainstorming partner, and a writing teacher designing lessons specifically around you.

How this works

Maximum 20 authors. Probably closer to 15. That is deliberate. I want to be able to work with each of you directly, not just broadcast at you. Sessions will be recorded. You'll get a workbook and email support throughout.

No date set yet. I'm asking who needs this first, then building it around the answers.

If you register interest, I'll send you a short survey. Your answers will shape the content directly. You'll be the first to know when it opens, and you'll get access to alpha pricing, which is the lowest this course will ever be.

Count me in

No payment. No commitment. Just your name on the list.

Ania Lichszteld, founder of AuthorSHED

I'm Ania. Self-published romance author since 2020 and cloud software architect for 25 years. I use AI as a creative writing teacher for my own work, designing lessons around the specific areas I know I need to develop. I have not found a better way to close the gap between where my writing is and where I want it to be.

That is what I am teaching here.
